Blabble
User Guide

Getting Started

Blabble lets you view, search, and work with your iMessage, WhatsApp, and Mail conversations from a single window.

System requirements

  • macOS 15.6 (Sequoia) or later
  • At least one messaging platform installed on your Mac (Messages, WhatsApp, or Mail)

First launch

When you open Blabble for the first time, a short welcome guide walks you through:

  1. Welcome — Read and accept the license agreement.
  2. Privacy — Learn how Blabble handles your data. Your messages stay on your Mac unless you enable cloud-based AI features.
  3. Add a source — Connect your first chat source (for example, iMessage). You can skip this and add sources later from Preferences.

The main window

The Blabble window is divided into three areas:

Sidebar (left)

Contains your Desks — folders that organize conversations — and the conversation list. Default desks: World, Contacts, Favorites, Hot, and Deleted. Toggle with ⌘[.

Message view (center)

Displays the messages for the selected conversation. The toolbar at the top shows source filters, a search field, and a date range.

Agent drawer (right)

The AI assistant panel. Open or close with ⌘]. Ask questions, translate text, summarize conversations, or check grammar.

Adding more sources

Open Blabble → Preferences (⌘,) and go to the Blabbles tab. Click + to add iMessage, WhatsApp, or Mail sources. See Chat Sources for step-by-step instructions.
